GX14 chassis mount Contactor

The industrial contactor GX14 from Gigavac is based on EPIC™ technology (Extended Performance Impervious Ceramics) and handles voltages from 24V to 750V both AC and DC and currents up to 3000A. The GX14 contactor housing handles 150°C without melting or discoloring. It uses the same technology that until now only has been used in more expensive products for the aerospace industry. The whole contactor is hermetically sealed and meets the demands for UL1604 class I, II and III for use in hazardous environments. IP67 makes it possible to temporarily immerse the GX14 in water for 30 minutes. It also has SAE J1171 for external spark protection and ISO8846 for protection against sparks in explosive gases. The contactor has built in coil suppression and the mounting details are all made of stainless steel. This will ensure many years of operation without corrosion, regardless of the environment.
